Bate Auto Murder Mystery

The car was found in Lemont, Illinois with its murdered chauffeur, Mr. John William Bate, Jr. The resulting murder investigation was known as either the Bate Auto Murder Mystery, or the Dove Case after the suspected murderer, Mr. Dove.
