There had been a drunken quarrel over Emma Jackson, common-law wife of Williams, who buzzed something in Williams' ear which caused him to stab Anderson. On 9/29/30 Emma Jackson was held by the Coroner who recommended Williams' arrest. On 10/15/30 Williams arrested and turned over to the Sheriff. 4 Dist. Oct. 1930 No Bill on Emma Jackson. 4/30/31 - Not Guilty - Burke (Williams).
