On the left are the home of the Illinois Athletic Club and the Monroe Building. At the northwest corner of Monroe Street is the Univerity Club and beyond may be seen the Chicago Athletic Club, the old Willoughboy Building, the Tower Building, the public library and the Crerar Library.
